Summary: The salutary effect of buttermilk on blueberries is shown by increase in height, weight, and vigor. The experiment was extended to azaleas. Rhododendrons were also treated with sour milk and seemed to benefit. However there was no control group. Individual components of the buttermilk were tested to see which were beneficial.
